Alarm monitoring is an option available with alarm systems whereby a number of functions can be linked to a monitoring service company to take appropriate action in an alarm event. The monitoring company can contact the key holder(s) or Police, Ambulance, Fire Brigade, Guard Patrol, service technician etc. depending on the nature of the message. Briefly, this is a means of ensuring the security of your possessions in your absence. However, more importantly, it also means that the personal security of yourself and those around you is supported when someone is there.

If you already have an existing alarm system and you would like it monitored, then (depending on the make and model) this may only require the installation of an alarm - to - telephone socket connection to your existing telephone line, and a visit by your local alarm technician to set it up. If you would like to know whether your existing alarm system is "monitor-ready", e-mail us with the details of the make and model. If you are unsure about the make and model we can organise for your local licenced alarm technician to call out and advise you of your options - with no obligation. To get your alarm monitoring started we will only charge for the cost of alarm parts required (however, phone company charges for an alarm/phone socket installation will apply). You will receive a fixed quote prior to commencement of the work. Once your alarm monitoring system is functional, the following monitoring charges apply (all prices are in AUD and include GST):-
¤ Dialler - $7.70 per week (Seniors $6.60 per week) ¤ Securitel - $13.20 per week ¤ Radio (alone or as back-up) - $12.80 per week
¤ Dialler - Open & Close times supervised - $13.25 per week ¤ Dialler - Open & Close times not supervised - $11.55 per week ¤ Securitel (Telstra exchange allowing) - Open & Close times supervised - $19.80 per week ¤ Securitel (Telstra exchange allowing) - Open & Close times not supervised - $17.60 per week ¤ Radio (alone or as back-up) - $16.50 per week
